Alison “Ali” Rosenthal is the founder and Managing Partner of Leadout Capital, which she started in 2018.
Ali was one Facebook’s earliest business hires where she was instrumental in driving growth and adoption of Facebook Mobile. Ali was most recently, the VP of Partnerships at Wealthfront.
Ali started her career at Goldman Sachs (M&A Group) and worked on late stage growth investing at General Atlantic Partners. She served on the board of AutoNation (AN) for 8.5 yrs. Ali was an EIR at Greylock Partners and has been an active angel investor since 2011 backing Deca and Unicorns Figma, Matterport (MTTR), Envoy, IPSY, CircleCI and Wealthfront.
In 2021, Steve joined Leadout Capital as a General Partner. Prior to Leadout, he was a Managing Director at Altamont Capital Partners.
Steve is uniquely good at listening and then simplifying and framing complicated questions and issues. He brings an energy and enthusiasm to his relationships with founders and is inspired by the courage of entrepreneurs working to bring their ideas to life.
Steve loves spending time with his wife and daughters as well as enjoying outdoor sports and travel.
Yun-Fang Juan is an investor and software engineer. As Leadout’s Venture Partner, Yun-Fang both originates investment opportunities and serves as a Senior Technical Advisor to the fund.
Prior to Leadout Capital, Yun-Fang was a Principal Engineer at Chan Zuckerberg initiative where she led the development of IDSeq.net which helps scientists identify pathogens in metagenomic sequencing data. Yun-Fang was the founder and CEO of Fundtastic, which she sold to Nav.com. Prior to that she was a Lead Engineer and Co-Creator of Facebook Ads. Yun-Fang is a successful and long tenured angel investor.
Yun-Fang is a co-author on over 10 US patents.
Dion Dong joined the Leadout Capital team in 2022. Prior to Leadout, Dion was a product manager, building security/compliance automation tools at Laika, and helped grow the developer platform and app store ecosystem at Rippling.
Dion first started his investing career as a founding investor at Olive Capital, an early-stage deep tech fund that spun out of ZhenFund.
In his spare time, you can find Dion hopping around coffee stores (struggling to find outlets), on the basketball court, or testing out new recipes.
